About Us We would like to introduce ourselves, Debra James and Vicki Ferrier. Former expatriates ourselves, we have lived and worked in schools in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. The concept of a Gap experience for expatriate students came about from personal experience. Having children of our own who graduated from International schools we became aware of the gap before starting university. Additionally there was also a need to readjust to life back home. I, Debra James am a former New Zealander, currently based in Sydney, Australia with my husband and two sons. Our family has spent 18 years living in; Europe, Middle East and Asia where our sons attended international schools. I hold a degree in Secondary School Education and have worked both abroad and in Australia as a teacher. I, Vicki Ferrier have recently returned to Sydney, Australia having spent the last 14 years living and working as a international school teacher in Asia and Europe. I have two sons who are currently readjusting to life back in Australia. I have a diploma in Primary Education. We both look forward to organising an enriching and fun Gap Experience for you. |
